MICG supported Uraia Trust in building the capacity of the Homa Bay County Assemblies’ Budget & Appropriations Committee in 2018. The training focused on participatory budgeting, fiscal transparency, and budget analysis for the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and Annual Development Plans (ADP).
The consultancy helped strengthen the county’s budget oversight, ensuring that financial decisions were made in an inclusive manner, with citizen participation at the forefront of the planning process.
